Swingtip Gundogs is a family run kennel which has helped many dogs and their owners live in harmony together. This has been achieved through one to one training from puppies to fully grown dogs of all shapes and sizes. Dog behaviourist assessment and feedback sessions where I have witnessed individual dogs and owners in their own homes for a variety of different reasons through to field trial training, where we take the training to the highest standards possible of both the dog and handler.
A bit about me:
I have been involved with gundogs for over 30 years having my first English Springer Spaniel at the age of 11, which I trained as a rough shooting dog. At 14 I bred my first litter of spaniel puppies keeping one back to train, which I later sold as a fully trained gundog. Since those early days I have turned my attention to training Cocker Spaniels, training & trialling Labradors, but will always have a soft spot and a kennel space for springers.
I trained as a dog psychologist with the Canine Behvaiourist centre in 2002,
I am a recognised micro-chip implanter registered with Petlog, most police stations, veterinary clinics and dog wardens have scanners to check for lost or stolen dogs being a national data base combined with the Kennel Club, RSPCA & Scottish SPCA this makes it a lot quicker for dogs to be reunited with their owners .
Here at Swingtip, we don't only offer our services to pedigree gundogs, but offer all of our services to every breed and cross breeds of dog.
All my dogs are fed on the BARF diet (raw veg , meat and bones including chicken carcases & green tripe).
